About the Role
The Program Director will play a key role in leading the Financial Crimes Compliance Program of Action to ensure alignment of outcomes across Suncorp Bank. The role will be responsible for coordinating and driving execution of program actions in alignment with Suncorp Bank's strategy and maximizing customer, employee, and shareholder outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals to design and deliver the objectives of the Financial Crime Program of Action
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, from initial concept through to financial management, release management, change communications, and project closure
- Make strategic trade-off decisions to balance scope, time, cost, and quality
- Manage key stakeholders and present regularly to the Board, AUSTRAC, and other senior stakeholders
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment, providing professional development, and driving cultural change to enhance team performance and organizational success
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading large programs within the financial services industry, preferably in the financial crime space
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring, developing teams, and guiding decision-making at management levels
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and influence across various levels
- Extensive experience in managing large, complex programs and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solid understanding of financial principles and risk mitigation
