About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our sustainability initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies that drive business growth while minimizing our ecological footprint.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering or science, with expertise in sustainable practices and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with our stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sustainability into our operations and projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability plans aligned with company objectives
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into design, procurement, and construction processes
- Manage external relationships with industry bodies and consultants
- Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Tertiary qualification in environmental engineering, science, or related field
- Proven experience in sustainability management, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental statutes and legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to travel as required
