We are seeking an experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team in Brisbane. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of self-insured workers' compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of self-insured workers' compensation claims
- Make initial liability decisions
- Mentor junior staff, supported by full administrative assistance
- Engage with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and medical professionals
- Develop and implement RTW plans and case strategies
- Ensure decisions comply with legislative requirements
- Extensive experience in case management under QLD Legislation
- Ideally, experience in Self-Insurance (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of legislation, with the ability to apply it effectively
- Experience with both front and tail claims portfolios (preferred but not essential)
- Proven track record of achieving successful RTW outcomes
- A true passion for case management and community involvement
