Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a team of engineers delivering high-voltage transmission projects. This role will provide technical oversight, project engineering expertise, and leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Engineers across transmission-level projects.
  • Provide input into the design, procurement, and delivery of electrical works.
  • Review and oversee engineering deliverables for compliance and quality.
  • Support project scoping, planning, and bid preparation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project delivery risks.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
  • National Electrical Registration (NER) and Victorian Engineering Registration; Chartered Engineer desirable.
  • Proven experience delivering transmission-level voltage projects in utilities, EPC, or renewables sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of design development processes and project engineering methodologies.
  • Experience leading engineering teams and providing mentoring across levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working on large-scale transmission and renewables projects.
  • Demonstrated career progression and leadership opportunities.
