Service Operations Coordinator

This is a highly organized and detail-oriented role that involves coordinating service operations, interacting with customers and internal teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing logistics for a technical department.

About the Role
  • Coordinate the team of Service Engineers for routine maintenance, commissioning, technical support, and breakdown callouts.
  • Plan and schedule service jobs with customers and Service Engineers.
  • Manage the coordination of field service and workshop activities.
  • Order products from product centers or third parties as required.
  • Ensure all paperwork for executed service work is collected and processed correctly.
  • Close out service orders once the job is completed.
  • Handle service invoicing upon completion of jobs.
  • Manage any issues that arise with scheduling, pricing, or invoicing.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a Service or Sales department.
  • Experience working with dispatching or transportation logistics.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and control is ideal but not essential.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and stay on top of deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
