Overview

This role involves teaching and guiding a Year 4 class. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and fostering an inclusive, engaging, and respectful classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instruction aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Support and uphold the Islamic vision and ethos of the school.
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Teach fluently in English and effectively manage classroom learning.
Selection Criteria
  • Proven experience in best practices for teaching primary-aged students.
  • Strong knowledge of literacy and numeracy in the middle primary years.
  • Ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs.
  • Confident in using ICT to support student learning.
Requirements
  • Cover letter and resume (CV).
  • Statement addressing the selection criteria (maximum two pages).
  • Copy of recognised teaching qualification (minimum four-year tertiary qualification or equivalent).
  • Current TRBWA registration.
  • Proof of Australian citizenship or valid working rights.
