ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

This role focuses on assisting individuals in their recovery process. Drawing upon clinical skills, you will help facilitate a return to wellness plan.

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement and monitor rehabilitation plans. This requires strong clinical reasoning, the ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams, and a passion for helping people rehabilitate.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement rehabilitation plans.
  • Conduct initial assessments and perform worksite reviews.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

This role offers an opportunity to work with a high-quality service provider that supports and mentors its staff. You will be part of a team that helps military personnel achieve specific health goals and return to service.

The ideal candidate will have current unrestricted registration or membership with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, tertiary qualifications in Nursing, and experience with professional documentation and report writing. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, rehabilitation counsellors, osteopaths, or social workers with appropriate professional registration are also encouraged to apply.

Key aspects of this role include developing and implementing rehabilitation plans, conducting initial assessments and worksite reviews, and monitoring progress. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
