Job Title: ADF Rehabilitation Specialist

Role Overview

The ADF Rehabilitation Specialist plays a pivotal role in the rehabilitation journey of clients, employing a holistic care approach to ensure seamless transition from recovery to healing.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments based on clinical expertise, encompassing functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, and activities of daily living evaluations.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, medical specialists, and treatment providers, to foster a cohesive rehabilitation strategy.
  • Deliver services across ADF and DVA portfolios, providing targeted support for Veterans and current ADF members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure aligned goals and optimal outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect within the team.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration with relevant professional bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or AASW).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Demonstrated clinical reasoning and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional rehabilitation services and experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
