Rehabilitation Consultant

A dynamic rehabilitation consultant opportunity exists with a high-quality service provider. This unique role will see you support ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
  • Perform assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans

KPIs are based on service delivery outcomes, not billable hours. The role emphasizes genuine person-centred focus and goal setting. Set working hours to promote work/life balance with no overtime or outside-hours work.

Qualifications and Success Factors
  • Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
