Advanced Practise Contact Tracing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant.
This role is a key part of our efforts to promote, encourage, educate, and support clinicians and other health professionals in contact tracing for persons diagnosed with sexually transmissible infections (STIs) across Central Queensland.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing effective contact tracing strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to clients, and providing education and training to health professionals on STI/BBV prevention and management.
- To develop and implement evidence-based contact tracing strategies that ensure timely and effective identification and management of STIs.
- To collaborate with healthcare professionals and community groups to promote public health management of STIs/BBVs.
- To design and deliver education and training programs for healthcare professionals on STI/BBV prevention and management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, including a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, and relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications and experience in STI/BBV contact tracing.
