Job Opportunity: Earthmoving Equipment Technician

  • Purpose of the Role

This role involves preparing and testing new earthmoving equipment to customer specifications, providing quality diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications or target times for improved punctuality and job efficiency.
  • Preparation and testing of pre-delivery inspections for new equipment.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Completion and submission of relevant paperwork and reports.

Requirements for Success

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience with overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic ability.
  • Uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
