Job Overview

Vetting Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Vetting Analyst to join our team. As a Vetting Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing whether clearance applicants are suitable to hold a security clearance in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework and AFP governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess clearance applicants to determine their suitability for a security clearance.
  2. Manage your own allocation of vetting assessments and deliver results within agreed timeframes.
  3. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, proficient written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of clearance subjects from diverse backgrounds.

In this role, you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.
