Job Summary:

The Coordination and Project Officer plays a key role in ensuring administrative processes are managed efficiently and effectively within the portfolio.

This position is responsible for facilitating management of the team inbox, processing briefings and correspondence for senior executives, allocating tasks to responsible officers and reporting for the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the portfolio, including coordination of high-volume confidential correspondence, emails, briefings, and reports.
  • Effectively manage briefings, correspondence, parliamentary matters, and enquiry requests for the portfolio, ensuring they are allocated quickly and appropriately and are finalised in a timely manner.
  • Work within shared mailboxes to direct and track items to be actioned by the organisation as required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
