Performance Insights Manager

About the role :

The Performance Insights Manager drives business value by delivering actionable insights and analysis. Working closely with key stakeholders, the role translates complex performance data into meaningful insights that inform business strategy.

This includes building and maintaining dashboards, leading performance discussions, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role plays a key part in influencing business outcomes by challenging benchmarks and aligning insights to organisational goals.

The Performance Insights Manager contributes directly to improving business performance across financial, productivity, customer, people, and quality measures.

Key responsibilities include :

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Analyse customer behaviour, market trends, and the economic environment to proactively identify performance opportunities and risks.
  • Translate data into commercial opportunities by delivering insights and business cases that improve business outcomes.
  • Provide insight into productivity and performance drivers across business units to support performance optimisation.
  • Assess and quantify the impact of solution implementations at all levels.
  • Identify and investigate business issues, producing insights to support decisions by senior leadership.

Customer Focus

  • Partner with key business areas to develop consistent practices, tools, and insights that drive customer satisfaction.
  • Identify barriers to delivering exceptional customer service through analysis and recommendations.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimise customer experience and loyalty.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships aligned with organisational values.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams to deliver high-quality insights and solutions.
  • Represent the Performance team in meetings and projects, leading discussions and presenting findings.

About You :

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or related fields (desired).
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality commentary and insights that inform business strategy.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a contact centre or analytics environment.
  • Familiarity with analytical platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, presentation, and collaboration.
  • Ability to translate complex problems into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong strategic mindset with understanding of operational and financial concepts.
  • Experience managing or supporting projects in dynamic environments.
