As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families, and the healthcare team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
- Supervise, direct, and guide junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in the provision of midwifery care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
The Early Parenting Unit offers outpatient day programs and residential inpatient stays for families who require support following the arrival of a new baby and throughout their first year. Our highly qualified team of Obstetricians, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Midwives, Nurses, and physiotherapists have extensive experience supporting families and their infants.
