We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team of professionals in providing exceptional patient care. As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
- Supervise, direct, and guide junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in the provision of midwifery care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
The Early Parenting Unit offers outpatient day programs and residential inpatient stays for families who require support following the arrival of a new baby and throughout their first year. Our team is staffed by highly qualified professionals, including Obstetricians, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Midwives, Nurses, and physiotherapists, all with extensive experience supporting families and their infants.
About You- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children check (if relevant).
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Highly developed clinical skills in maternity services: antenatal/birth suite/postnatal care.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work practice.
