The role of Senior Learning & Development Officer is a pioneering opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project in the public sector. This contract will provide the chance to be part of something innovative and make a significant impact on the lives of First Nations peoples.
Key Responsibilities:- Create culturally relevant e-learning content and blended training programs to enhance digital and professional capabilities of First Nations peoples.
- Develop a matrix of skill competencies against a Digital Skills Framework.
- Engage stakeholders to define role requirements and co-design delivery models.
- Identify existing training or develop content to support professional development.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions to build knowledge-sharing capacity across 30 Indigenous Knowledge Centres.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training programs are respectful, relevant, and aligned with Indigenous cultural values and learning styles.
- First Nations People are encouraged to apply.
- 5+ years' experience in training development and delivery, preferably within community and local council projects.
- Qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience in these fields and demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, learning tools, and virtual training platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality training materials that meet project management and learning frameworks.
- Mid-Senior level.
