Job Overview

The continuity manager oversees the planning and implementation of IT recovery services, ensuring seamless business operations during disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams in assessing and developing disaster recovery plans to meet organisational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory frameworks governing data security and privacy.
  • Identify and implement recovery techniques for new applications and systems, reviewing plans periodically for ongoing validity.
  • Maintain accurate status reporting, plans, and documentation related to disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Represent the IT continuity service on behalf of customers, delivering high-quality services in accordance with customer policies and procedures.
  • Ensure stakeholders adhere to relevant processes in line with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial IT, with expertise in mainframe and client/server technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases, and networking principles.
  • Strong customer relationship building and management skills, coupled with effective communication skills.
