Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Strategist to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies in Melbourne/Sydney. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the ISMS, including governance policies, standards, and processes.
  • Conduct security self-assessment and controls assurance exercises to assess whether key controls are operating effectively.
  • Undertake risk advisory or strategy services to identify, evaluate, report on, and remediate security risk.
  • Develop and implement security control assurance programs and supply chain risk assessment frameworks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security roles within major organizations, with a focus on management of governance, risk, and compliance. You will also require relevant industry certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, and/or relevant industry experience.

You will possess a comprehensive understanding of industry-wide security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc. Additionally, you will have significant experience in the development and implementation of information security management systems, policies, and standards, as well as security control assurance programs and supply chain risk assessment frameworks.

In this role, you will be required to demonstrate familiarity with contemporary security technologies and products. You will also need to possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Compensation Package:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure includes a base salary, superannuation, and other benefits.
