The company is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team. This role will drive growth and retention across the national territory, playing a key part in the next phase of expansion.
- Take ownership of new account sales and manage the entire sales process.
- Craft compelling proposals and ensure a seamless transition from initial engagement to contract execution.
This exciting position requires a results-driven professional passionate about making a meaningful impact. The successful candidate will report to a senior leader and play a pivotal role in driving growth and sales strategy across the sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of new account sales and managing the entire sales process.
- Crafting compelling proposals and ensuring a seamless transition from initial engagement to contract execution.
- Developing and qualifying new customer contacts for the Company's various product and service offerings.
- Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve annual sales targets.
- Cultivating and nurturing customer relationships throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
- Forging and leveraging strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive business success and achieve strategic objectives.
- Collaborating with communications and marketing teams to create portfolio-specific sales collateral informed by industry insights and market analysis.
- Conducting market research on industry trends and dynamics to offer actionable recommendations for strategic growth.
- Strong commitment to upholding and promoting our safety culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Management or Business Studies, with a demonstrated passion for learning.
- Bring 3-5 years of experience in the Services industry, ideally within the Mining, Energy, and/or Hospitality sector.
- Previous experience in operational P&L accountability is highly desirable.
- Leverage a broad range of influencing skills and exceptional verbal communication abilities to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, influencing situations, and negotiating outcomes at a senior level within the B2B market.
- Demonstrate business and commercial acumen to identify growth opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and make informed decisions that enhance overall business performance.
- Experience in consistent year-on-year consumer sales revenue growth, improved profitability, and delivering innovation and digital consumer technologies to generate revenue.
