Role Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Relations Consultant to join our Mapien team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your expertise in navigating industrial relations complexities, including FWC representation, enterprise bargaining, workplace agreements, and dispute resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Represent clients before the FWC, preparing submissions, attending hearings, and advocating for their interests.
  • PARTICIPATE IN enterprise bargaining, conducting negotiations, drafting agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in drafting professional industrial relations documentation, including client advice, policies, contracts, letters to employees, and enterprise agreements.
  • Contribute to the analysis of data, calculation of minimum wages, and interpretation of industrial instruments for wage compliance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in industrial or employee relations
  • Qualifications in law, industrial relations, and/or human resources
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn from challenges
