Merchandiser Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Merchandiser in a dynamic environment.

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting successful partnerships within retail stores. This involves working closely with store managers to complete various tasks, building strong relationships, and communicating up-coming promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Maintaining stock levels, positioning products on shelves, and ensuring accurate ticketing.
  • Executing tasks, creating visually appealing displays, and erecting point-of-sale materials.
  • Negotiating off-location opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with store personnel to drive business growth.
  • Communicating key promotional activities to ensure maximum visibility and impact.
  • Accurate reporting of sales data and other key metrics.

Planogram Duties:

  • Executing planograms and relays to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Shelf adjustments to maintain optimal product placement.
  • Stock placement and ticketing to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Obtaining sign-off from store personnel to confirm completion of tasks.
  • Accurate reporting of sales data and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  • Ownership of a smart device for reporting purposes.
  • A current State Driver's License and a reliable roadworthy vehicle.
  • Full Australian working rights and being over the age of 18.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying stock (up to 16 kg).
