About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic Finance Team as a Compensation and Financial Services Specialist. This is a great opportunity to apply your knowledge in payroll and finance in a mission-driven organisation that makes a real difference.

  • Process fortnightly pay runs accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, process position/salary changes, and ensure appropriate approvals and audit trails.
  • Conduct end-of-month payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations with precision and accuracy.
  • Support the integration of payroll and HR data across internal systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage payroll-related communications and correspondence, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Administer the payroll kiosk system and employee leave processes, streamlining administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with the Salary Packaging Provider for employee packaging services, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Process invoices and customer expenditure in the accounting system, maintaining financial accuracy and control.
  • Manage reimbursement requests and ensure client expenses fall within eligibility timeframes, providing support and guidance when needed.
  • Support general finance administrative tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
About You

We are looking for a professional who brings:

  • Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality to everything you do.
  • A Diploma or tertiary qualifications in a Finance-related field, with experience in payroll processing and finance administration.
  • An understanding of employment-related legislation (e.g., PAYG, Superannuation, Fair Work Act), ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • High-level computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, databases), with strong verbal communication and data entry skills.
  • Excellent accuracy, time management, and organisational skills, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
