Depot Access Monitor


Job Description

The role of the Depot Access Monitor is to ensure the smooth flow of goods and vehicles in and out of the depot. This involves monitoring truck access, directing incoming traffic, and inspecting outgoing traffic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for answering the receiving phone, scheduling appointments for deliveries, and verifying freight documents. They will also communicate with truck drivers and inform receiving staff of incoming loads.

Key responsibilities include following receiving and general safety and security procedures, attending to inbound and outbound truck driver's queries, and providing prompt and courteous customer service.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Forklift Licence is not essential but an advantage
  • Knowledge/Skills: Basic Math Skills, Computer skills, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio
