Fitness Instructors Wanted for Dynamic Pilates Classes

We are seeking a Pilates instructor to join our team at Genesis Health + Fitness Dandenong. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality classes to our members.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and excellent teaching skills. You will need to possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

The role involves delivering programmed classes and educating members on Pilates techniques. You will also participate in professional development workshops and promotional activities where possible.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to meet certain qualifications and requirements. These include:

  • Diploma/Cert IV in Pilates or equivalent Pilates certification
  • Positive community-focused mindset
  • Ability to deliver on brand lesson plans as set out by Genesis Health + Fitness programming
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Working with Children/Blue Card National Police

Desirable but not required qualifications include prior Reformer Pilates or other Group Fitness class teaching experience, Cert III or IV in Fitness, dance or exercise science qualifications, advanced nutrition, rehab/mobility coaching, and pre/post natal qualifications.

Key accountabilities include delivery of Reformer Pilates classes as per program structure provided by Head Office, participating in professional development workshops and promotional activities, having a range of availability including some early morning, weeknight or weekend work, and delivering a high level of customer service assisting the club sales team to recruit and retain members.
