About us

Functional Pilates is a well-established Pilates studio in Kew currently operating under full capacity. A unique opportunity is available to join our team and be directly mentored by instructors each with extensive experience in this field. Functional Pilates has been evolved by a scientist giving this studio a unique perspective of movement, rehabilitation and fitness. You will learn how to observe movement patterns and develop exercises to benefit each client, depending on their individual requirements. We provide Pilates services to all age groups to help with rehabilitation, balance training and fitness. Our studio is private and fully equipped. Our reputation is well established in Kew, just read the growing list of Google reviews.

Qualifications & experience

Qualified Pilates Instructor with sound knowledge on how to use all Pilates equipment. Desirable characteristic is if you are willing to learn to improve client outcomes. We aim to provide ongoing feedback to continually improve your confidence and client outcomes.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Experience in private practice and group exercise classes.
Strong initiative and ability to work both with a mentor and independently.
Passion for driving and achieving excellent outcomes for each client.
Positive, professional attitude.
Professional indemnity insurance and current first aid certification required.

Tasks & responsibilities

Lead private 1-on-1 sessions, and classes of up to 3 clients.
Our studio is open Monday to Friday. The start and finish times vary but generally we open no earlier than 8:15am and work no later than 6pm. Working days, number of hours of work and start and finish times can all be negotiated.

Development available - develop and collaborate with experienced Pilates Instructors.
Ongoing support - we want you to be the best instructor you can be and will help you to set your professional goals and achieve them.
