We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Head Chef to design and execute a modern Asian-inspired menu.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement a menu that showcases our culinary expertise
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence
• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure food safety, hygiene, and WHSE compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Lead and train junior kitchen staff to ensure a positive and collaborative team atmosphere
• Contribute to a positive and innovative kitchen culture that thrives on teamwork and creativity

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment
• Relevant culinary degree or certification
• Strong understanding of Asian flavors, techniques, and ingredients
• Passion for food innovation and creativity in the kitchen
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high standard of quality
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Food Safety certificate
• Right to work in Australia
