Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all functions relating to engineering for the performance of aircraft maintenance in accordance with manufacturers' requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Model and promote organisational values and behaviours.
  • Drive employee engagement and cultural transformation.
  • Define clear roles and accountabilities within the department.
  • Support professional development and performance management.
  • Develop and implement departmental strategy aligned with organisational mission.
  • Effectively manage department time and resources.
  • Lead business transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety management systems and relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and oversee regulatory audits and surveillance.
  • Manage aircraft maintenance planning and execution.
  • Establish resources required for unscheduled maintenance.
  • Oversee maintenance support functions including parts management and recordkeeping.
  • Liaise with key vendors and stakeholders.
  • Oversight of all maintenance activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Liaison with regulators, monitoring of regulatory activities and resolution of audit findings.
