Technical Records Officer Role Overview:

Job Description

The Technical Records Officer will be responsible for administering and storing aircraft maintenance records in an efficient manner that is compliant with company policies and CASA regulations. This includes receiving, processing, maintaining, and storing aircraft and component records, as well as updating the maintenance information database with aircraft and component information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and store aircraft maintenance records in accordance with company policies and CASA regulations
  • Receive, process, maintain, and store aircraft and component records
  • Update the maintenance information database with aircraft and component information

The role will also involve liaising with internal stakeholders across the Group to streamline processes and workflows.

RequirementsSkill Requirements
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance information systems such as the Trax and IAS software packages (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a team
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to designated timelines and deadlines
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Forward thinking with the ability to understand the 'big picture'
  • Experience in reporting and record keeping
  • Ability to work as part of a team to produce safe, compliant and desirable outcomes on behalf of the business
  • Sound level of skill in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and process compliance
