We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Specialist. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by helping them achieve their employment goals.
About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will work closely with job seekers to identify their skills and strengths, and provide tailored support to help them secure employment. You will also be responsible for sourcing employment opportunities, delivering excellent customer service, and increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualised employment plans with job seekers
- Source employment opportunities and build relationships with local employers
- Deliver high-quality customer service to job seekers and employers
- Conduct regular progress meetings with job seekers and update their plans as needed
You Will Need
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle (for travel between offices)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A willingness to complete a Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
