Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking talented individuals to fill DIDO Utility/Cleaner positions in the Mackay region.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote setting, providing housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, and tavern operations.

As a successful candidate, you will maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents.

You will work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a hospitality or remote setting is highly desirable.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • A valid police check issued within the last 3 months or willingness to obtain one is essential.
  • A Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment must be passed.
  • A Standard 11 surface mining induction or willingness to obtain is also necessary.
  • A Safe Food Handling Certificate is required.
  • An RSA Certificate is desired but not mandatory.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
