Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled and experienced Venue Support Specialist to join our team. As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our venue.
">About the Role
">The Doss House is a heritage underground whiskey bar located in The Rocks, Sydney. We are passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences and promoting live music events.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Assist the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations and managing staff
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute live music events and other activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to liquor licensing and workplace health and safety
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve efficiency
Requirements
">- Proven experience in a similar role or industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
- Whiskey knowledge preferred but training provided
