Employee Relations Specialist

The role of Employee Relations Specialist involves managing employee relations and industrial matters across a region. As the main point of contact for disputes, grievances, and tribunal matters, you will conduct robust investigations and provide strategic advice to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing sensitive termination processes and employee complaints
• Providing expert guidance on workplace conduct, policies, and compliance obligations
• Delivering training and uplift capability across the HR function

Success in this role requires strong experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing ER disputes, as well as a solid understanding of the Australian IR/ER landscape and Fair Work legislation.

Additional requirements include excellent judgement, discretion, and communication skills under pressure, a proactive and calm approach to complex casework, and a customer-focused mindset with a desire to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications include tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law or a related field, and experience working in a fast-paced HR or ER function.
