Project Leadership Role

As a member of a global project services team, the project manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the delivery of projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing responsibility, contribution to, and compliance with project management methodology in liaison with line managers and methodology managers;
  • Contribution to the ongoing improvement cycle of the implementation process, ensuring alignment with global best practices and utilization of clear standards and templates;
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of projects by leading a team of associates, providing leadership, and serving as the primary project-level liaison for clients;
  • Identifying the most effective allocation of resources and tools required for the project in compliance with project requirements;
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the project to ensure successful delivery of scope, timelines, and budget;
  • Creating and executing project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
  • Assessing and managing issues and risks, applying appropriate mitigation strategies as required;
  • Communicating relevant project status updates effectively to line managers and resource managers;
  • Facilitating communication with client stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions, focusing on enhancing client relationships and satisfaction;
  • Tracking team hours and approving accordingly through project management tools to ensure appropriate utilization;
  • Contribution to individual assessments for project team members during performance reviews;
  • Performing other related duties as assigned;
  • Assisting in working with sales, application support, implementation, relationship management, and service delivery teams in determining quotation estimates for future projects;
  • Coordinating and/or delivering solution/service specifications;
  • Preparing proposals/quotations with input from functional areas;
  • Ensuring billing activities are completed and communicated to project services directors in a timely manner;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR BPO and related service industries;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global service offerings and relevant templates, ensuring services meet template guidelines;
  • Adhering to guidelines set in quality systems;
  • Organizing and managing relevant workshops with client key users and global associates.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of project management experience in IT and/or payroll/HR industry with SAP skill set;
  • Ability to manage and lead a remote team to achieve project outcomes.
