Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. The company is working to provide differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients as possible through outpatient clinic partnerships.

Overview

The Clinical Program Director is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program and other wound care continuum programs for the assigned area of responsibility. This position provides complete oversight of the Wound Care Center (WCC), including day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, community education, and clinical functions oversight. The Clinical Program Director maintains collaborative and consultative client relationships within and outside the hospital organization and fosters effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and strategically grow the Wound Care Program and other wound care continuum programs.
  • Oversee day-to-day Wound Care Center operations and staff.
  • Lead financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education/marketing of the Wound Care Center.
  • Act as a back-up performing hyperbaric-related duties, as needed, upon completion of Healogics Hyperbaric training.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships within the hospital and with external partners; build effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital.

Required Education, Experience and Credentials
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred with 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
  • OR Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred with 2 or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
  • OR 4 years or more of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
  • Wound care experience is required
  • Management experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including group presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong customer service and follow-up skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and teaching skills; ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Budget and strategic planning skills; ability to travel overnight
  • Ability to work with Healogics and hospital management
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged stationary position, computer use, and keyboarding
  • Moving about, close/distance/peripheral vision, reading, writing
  • Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance
  • Pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping/touching
  • Travel as needed (car, airplane, etc.)
  • Auditory and color perception requirements
Work Environment
  • Normal office environment; primarily indoors
  • Patient care environment with exposure to hazards (bloodborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, etc.)
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment and proximity to moving objects

Compensation And Benefits: Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Annual Salary; Full-Time: 40 hours/week; Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (10 hours per day). Full-Time Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, PTO and Sick Time Accruals.
