Family Day Care Program Manager

The role of a Family Day Care Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of child care services. This position involves a blend of management, communication, and educational responsibilities, all aimed at fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate child care programs and activities – Creating engaging and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.

  • Provide administrative assistance to the director – Maintaining and tracking records related to staff, children, and compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with children's parents – Keeping parents informed about their child's progress, any developmental concerns, and changes in schedules or policies.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements – Regularly reviewing and updating practices to meet health codes and legal standards.
  • Oversee the safety and cleanliness of the child care environment – Ensuring that the facility is safe and free from hazards, promoting a healthy space for children.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and provide feedback – Regular assessments help maintain high standards of care and support professional development among staff.

Key Responsibilities:
