Job Title: Food and Beverage Duty Manager

Accor is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Duty Manager. As a key member of our lounge operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example to provide efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to all guests.
  • Manage the front of house operations to ensure high-quality service to our customers.
  • Supervise and support lounge areas as required.
  • Define the organization of work to be performed by team members and supervise, coordinate, and plan daily activities.
  • Handle guest challenges and situations and be part of the first response emergency team.
  • Complete the daily running sheet with full communication across all areas of the lounge.
  • Report sickness, absence, punctuality, and other issues to the Lounge and T&C Manager.
  • Achieve budgets, customer satisfaction targets, and other business metrics.
  • Receive and deal with verbal complaints and forward to the Lounge Manager when necessary.
  • Communicate directly with the front of house team, kitchen team, and higher management to provide relevant information.
  • Assist with implementing training programs for all employees, conduct induction, and skills training.
  • Maintain and improve quality service in our lounges.
  • Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation as prescribed by council/legislative regulations.
  • Ensure ACCOR and Brand policies are respected.
  • Excellent knowledge of software operation and usage.
  • Check discrepancy reports and take action accordingly.
  • Train junior team members and coordinate monthly on-the-job training for the department.
  • Log and inform the Manager of any system problems and workplace injuries.
  • Assist with protecting and maintaining control of the lounge and bar areas.
Requirements:
  • A passion for people and creating the next generation of hospitality leaders.
  • Previous experience managing a team of 20 team members or more.
  • Preferred territory education.
  • Ability to support and guide team members to reach operational expectations.
  • Prior experience working with Ento, Intelex, or a related system.
  • Preferred previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills and self-confidence.
  • Good sales skills.
  • Good presentation.
  • A thorough and organized approach.
