About The Role

This is a pivotal position in shaping the safe and effective use of medicines across Victoria.

Working with Safer Care Victoria's Medicines and Pharmacy Improvement Program, you will support the operationalisation of the Victorian Statewide Medicines Formulary, a major reform initiative to standardise and optimise medicine use across the health system.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as pharmacy or public health.
  • Postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.

You should have specialist expertise including:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in health service management with a deep understanding of medicines governance and safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale healthcare system reforms or quality improvement initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of the Victorian health system is highly regarded.
