Enterprise Core Functions Developer

We seek a skilled developer to work on 21CS VSEn operating system core functions, focusing on Language Environment (LE) and Compilers (COBOL, PL/I, C, REXX, RPG II). As part of a collaborative team, you will design and code enterprise-level core functions that meet business and customer requirements.

You will be responsible for code modification, build analysis, testing, support, and debugging tasks, as well as contributing to product futures. Our expertise lies in developing cutting-edge technology for the IBM Z platform, trusted by major finance institutions, healthcare providers, and governments worldwide.

We are expanding our skills in 21CS VSEn platform, one of the operating systems for IBM Z. Your role will involve designing and developing functionality for enterprise-level core functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop functionality for enterprise-level core functions
  • Perform code modification, build analysis, testing, and debugging tasks
  • Provide input related to product futures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent English
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in VSE operating system skills: usage, installation, administration, and development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IBM zSystems architecture knowledge: usage and development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in LE and Compilers programming
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in VSE HLASM and C programming
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in VSE Debugging skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with z/VM, z/OS, Linux on Z

Education:

  • PREFERRED - Bachelors or better in Computer Science
