Heavy Diesel Fitter Leading Hand Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to lead our maintenance crew. As a leading hand, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to a team of diesel fitters and maintenance personnel.

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across various equipment types
  • Carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment when required
  • Foster a positive team culture by mentoring and developing crew members
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards and reporting requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitting trade certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proven leading hand/supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and support maintenance crews
  • Current G1, G8, G9 (S1, S2, S3) and G2 certificates
