Job Title: Senior Diesel Fitter

Join a dynamic maintenance team as a senior diesel fitter, utilizing your leadership skills and expertise to guide the crew in maintaining heavy mining equipment. You will oversee daily operations, supervise maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with site safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks across various equipment types
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on heavy machinery
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by mentoring and developing team members
Requirements:
  • Heavy Diesel Fitting trade certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role
  • Current G1, G8, G9 (S1, S2, S3) and G2 certificates

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be working at our Goonyella Mine in Central Queensland, operating a diverse range of equipment including Komatsu 930-E trucks, CAT 793 trucks, CAT D10 & D11 dozers, CAT 18M & 24M graders, Liebherr R9800 excavators, and Hitachi 5600 & 3600 excavators.
