Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter with Leading Hand Experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to a team of diesel fitters and maintenance personnel. They will supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr mining equipment, carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment when required, foster a positive, team-focused culture by mentoring and developing crew members and ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures and reporting requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to a team of diesel fitters and maintenance personnel
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr mining equipment
  • Carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment when required
  • Foster a positive, team-focused culture by mentoring and developing crew members
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures and reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitting trade certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proven leading hand/supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and support maintenance crews
  • Current G1, G8, G9 (S1, S2, S3) and G2 certificates
