About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight and Heavy Haulage Locomotive Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry, operating locomotives on mainline, shunting, and marshalling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate locomotives safely and efficiently
  • Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
  • Maintain a high level of on-time running
  • Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives
  • Provide high quality customer service
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Available to work a 24/7 shift roster
  • Experience working in Safe Working systems (NSW & Qld)
  • Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience
  • Certificate IV in Rail Operations or equivalent
