Locomotive Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled locomotive operations specialist to join our team in Taree. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on mainline, shunting, and marshalling duties while maintaining high on-time running performance.

About the Job:
  • Operate locomotives safely and efficiently on assigned routes
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trains before departure to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of train movements and performances
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and maintain excellent customer service
About You:
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and risk management
  • Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift roster environment
  • Experience with NSW & Qld Safe Working systems an advantage
  • Extensive background in freight and heavy haulage locomotive operations
  • Certificate IV in Rail Operations (or equivalent)
