About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Advanced Test and Training Environment program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex programs that support the Australian Defence Force's test and training activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of test and training programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize program requirements and ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Lead a team of experts to deliver high-quality test and training programs that meet customer requirements.
  • Manage project finances, resources, and risks to ensure program success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Australian Defence Force and Commonwealth Program Offices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in program or business management, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies.
  • Proven ability to work as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at an operational level.
  • Demonstrated focus on delivering the best possible outcome and meeting commitments on budget and schedule.
  • Hold or be eligible for an NV-1 security clearance to perform the role.
