Medical Receptionist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced medical reception professional to join our busy cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years recent medical reception experience, be fluent in English, and possess excellent communication and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • General administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, booking appointments, and arranging hospital bookings and tests
  • Patient billing, cash collection, receipting, and reconciliation
  • Manage patient medical records confidentially
  • Prepare rooms/equipment/paperwork for various tests
  • Typing letters, reports, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Reliable, calm, and flexible team player with the ability to adapt to change
  • Recent experience in medical specialist reception is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment

This role includes working 3 days per week, but may vary. Early starts and cover for sick or annual leave are also required.
