Key Responsibilities:
- Support families who have concerns about their child's development by using knowledge of 0-9 years' developmental milestones, completing observations, and using information from screening tools and/or assessments.
- Identify and explain the most appropriate pathway of supports, whether this be access to early supports or support with applying for the NDIS.
- Connect families with local mainstream and community services such as community or child health services, playgroups, childcare, parent support groups, education options, and recreation.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has:
- A minimum Diploma tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Allied Health, or other relevant professional field.
- An understanding of the importance of implementing a tailored and personalised approach to children and their families in delivering the early childhood approach.
- Moderate report writing and IT skills, including database management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience providing support to families using a family-focused and strengths-based approach.
We offer a diverse range of benefits, including:
- A great team environment who share knowledge, pursue growth, and a desire for excellence.
- Salary packaging, Perkbox, health and wellbeing benefits, and more.
- Great leave entitlements and flexible working environment.
The role will be based out of our office, covering the local region, involving some travel to meet children and families/carers in their community and home environment.
