Job Role

The Partnerships Coach role involves working with individuals to explore career goals, build confidence, and connect them with employment opportunities. You will work side-by-side with participants to understand their strengths and aspirations, provide tailored coaching, link to opportunities, and collaborate with employers to open doors.

About The Position

You will work with employers to understand business needs and provide staffing solutions that fit, including training and promoting inclusive hiring practices, maintaining records, and driving engagement through proactive networking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health conditions.
  • Engage with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client alignment.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote the organization as a trusted provider helping people with disability achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Champion the organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
Essential Criteria
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable.
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Driver's License - essential.
