Job Title: Correctional Services Assistant
">About the Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality business services related to stores and canteen operations within a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of prisoner shops and prison stores, ensuring accurate records and efficient stock levels.
- Assist with the ordering and processing of prisoner special spends, as well as maintaining accurate records and reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prisoners and colleagues alike, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
About You:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of software applications and standard office equipment, with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of stores and warehousing operations, including stock management and OH&S practices.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
