About The Facility

Marngoneet Correctional Centre is a medium security facility housing sentenced and remand men. Our focus is on safe, secure, and humane containment with individualized needs for successful transition back into the community or continued journey through the prison system.

About The Position

The Assessment and Transition Coordinator ensures compliance with Service Delivery Outcomes and relevant policies by participating in prisoner risk and needs assessments, parole applications, and pre-release services.

  • Collaborating in Case Management Review process.
  • Coordinating and facilitating delivery of sessions and services individually and in conjunction with service providers.

About You

  • Demonstrated understanding of reintegration issues and prisoner needs.
  • Ability to administer risk assessment tools for individual prisoners.
  • Capacity to work effectively with clients who are difficult to engage in both individual and group settings.
